Billy McFarland Named Eagle Transport Terminal Manager in Richmond, Virginia

Billy McFarland promoted to Richmond Terminal Manager

Eagle Transport Corporation is excited to announce the promotion of Billy McFarland to Terminal Manager at our Richmond, Virginia, location.


“Billy has been operations manager in Richmond for over 14 years,” District Manager Joe Aoun said. “During this time, he has traveled to other terminals to help train dispatchers and helped open the original call center when it first started in Selma. Billy has immense knowledge of the fuel industry and a deep understanding of Eagle’s core values. I am excited to see how he will continue to grow Richmond.”


Billy joined the Eagle team as a dispatcher in July 1999 and was promoted to Operations Manager in October 2010. As someone already known for leading by example, we are excited to see how Billy applies his experience to this new role.


“With the promotion to the Terminal Manager of Richmond, Billy McFarland brings 25 years of experience to the table,” District Manager Don Ewalt said. “Billy has worked his way up through the Eagle system and has volunteered to work at several terminals to help or train new employees. His communication and teaching skills are outstanding. Billy will make an excellent addition to the management team at Eagle Transport.”
