Job Overview
Eagle Transport is hiring an Accounts Receivable Claims Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage customer claims, perform account reconciliations, ensure accurate payment allocations, and work closely with customers to resolve discrepancies. You’ll also analyze payment trends and maintain detailed spreadsheets to support the claims process.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities in Role

Enter, update, and monitor customer claims status daily.

Communicate claim status and resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare weekly reviews of customer accounts to identify and resolve billing errors promptly.

Perform daily uploads to apply payments accurately and relieve accounts receivable subledger balances.

Maintain positive communication with customers to resolve account differences and past-due accounts.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Billing, Pricing, Sales, Operations, and customers to onboard new accounts and establish accurate billing practices.

Handle ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros) and MS Office Suite

Experience with ERP systems (IBM iSeries/AS400 preferred)

Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality

Detail-oriented, flexible, and acts with integrity
