At Eagle Transport Corporation, we’re growing across the Southeast and looking for enthusiastic, goal-driven team members to join us. This role reports directly to the President and provides administrative support to Executives, the COO, and Regional Management. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless experience for our internal leadership team and external customers, while living out Eagle’s Core Values.


Location: On-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

 

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide direct administrative support to the President, Executive team, and Terminal teams

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for marketing and terminal teams

  • Maintain corporate office supplies and manage budgets responsibly

  • Track and reconcile corporate expense accounts for conferences, committees, events, and travel

 

Event & Marketing Coordination

  • Plan and execute marketing team events, including registration, reservations, vendor partnerships, and marketing material preparation

  • Manage logistics for trade shows and sporting event suites, including ticket delivery, catering, and display shipping

  • Oversee inventory of marketing items (clothing, brochures, flyers, and directory materials)

  • Prepare lead reports, assign leads to sales team members, and analyze event effectiveness for future participation

  • Track, analyze, and manage all event-related expenses cost-effectively


Reporting & Analysis

  • Create analytical reports using advanced Excel functions and features

  • Corporate Meetings & Community Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate corporate meetings, conferences, celebrations, luncheons, and community outreach initiatives

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook Calendar

  • Skilled in creating and managing event concepts and designs

  • Ability to write, proof, and format reports, presentations, correspondence, and procedures

  • Comfortable reading and interpreting business publications, professional journals, and technical documents

 

Experience & Education

  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget, with minimal supervision

  • Post-secondary education (college or technical school) and 3–5 years of related experience strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
