NC | Rocky Mount | Recruitment Specialist

At Eagle Transport Corporation, we are continuing to grow our team in the Southeast, and hiring great team members is critical to our success. As a Recruiting Specialist, you will be empowered to help develop and implement talent attraction strategies to recruit qualified employees and establish Eagle Transport as the employer of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work with hiring managers, recruiting team, and HR team to ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates while providing a premier applicant experience

  • Share with applicants all details related to job openings, benefits, responsibilities, and the hiring process

  • Review and pre-screen incoming job applications, referring each to the appropriate hiring manager when applicable

  • Respond to applicant inquiries by phone through the Eagle Recruiting Line, email, text, social media, and other systems as required

  • Proactively source candidate leads from online resources, partner agencies & schools, by phone, e-mail, chat, SMS, campaigns, social media, and/or other systems

  • Track all applicant interactions and notes in our applicant tracking system

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, connecting with them throughout the hiring process and early weeks of onboarding

  • Maintain contact and track leads of applicants and candidates for current and future hiring opportunities

  • Grow & manage relationships with external recruitment partners & schools, as well as management of driving school applications and database

  • Plan and attend job fairs, schools, and other recruitment events

  • Manage inventory & distribution of new hire welcome kits

  • Draft and manage online job postings on the Eagle website, social media, internal communication channels, and in our applicant tracking system

  • Design and manage online job board and social media ads for career opportunities

  • Develop internal & external recruitment email & social media campaigns and promotional materials

  • Management of corporate reward and recognition platform

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • Minimum of three years of recruitment experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Service-oriented team player, with excellent telephone skills, committed to providing a premier applicant experience

  • Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Web, Email Campaign, and Social Media Platforms)

  • Open to learning new skills, committed to continuous improvement

  • Highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
