Eagle Transport Corporation is proud to announce the purchase of the rolling stock assets of Woodford Oil Company and Hess Oil Company of Elkins, WV.  The transaction was completed at the offices of Woodford and Hess on October 4, 2005 in Elkins.  In addition, the assets of Woodford Oil's rolling stock in Ashland, KY were included.  The entire purchase of this transaction included thirteen transports in addition to retaining the drivers.  This acquisition will expand the current markets of Roanoke, VA, Ashland, KY and Charleston WV, along with two new origins being Marietta, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA.
