Wounded Warrior ProjectCarter Dages

Eagle is one of the sponsors for Carter Dages’ fundraiser for the “Wounded Warrior Project”. Carter has long been a business associate with Eagle in his capacity as VP/Finance with Highway Service Ventures, and has decided to help this project by riding his “classic Schwinn Voyageur Touring Bike” cross-country from Yorktown, Va. toward San Francisco, Ca. This trip is planned to cover 3800 miles over approximately 3 ½ months! 

As Carter stated in his idea for making this trip “sharing building space for 18 years with the Ashland, Va. U.S. Marine Corps Officer Recruiting Station, I have had the great fortune of meeting a number of young men and women as they have volunteered for and returned from service. Like so many others I have also seen firsthand how life altering injuries present extraordinary challenges and opportunities to those injured as well as their families.”
