With only four trucks, Eagle Transport began in 1969 and has enjoyed steady growth annually.  With the corporate office located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Eagle owns over three hundred eighty power units, with 27 terminals located throughout the eastern United States from Maryland to South Florida and west to Nashville, TN.  Eagle has secured itself as a leader in transporting petroleum products.  Even through deregulation in 1992, Eagle has continued to grow at a rate of 20% annually through the retention and continuing service of existing accounts, the acquisition of transport companies and the expansion into new markets.
